The expanse being shot in Toronto, the cast is pretty accurately reflective of the population of Toronto. While Some American cities are more diverse, from my experience, they also tend to be a little more ghettoized between cultural groups. Not really sure why. They'll get their official view again tomorrow, but the whole system seems custom designed to push people into not watching it live or paying for it. Like video game piracy was basically "solved" by making games super easy to buy and get from the comfort of your own home the second they are released.
