Also this does nothing at all to stop stuff like deliberately side-stepping into a challenge that wasn't actually going to touch you, or exaggerating the tiniest touch in the penalty box, both of which are common ways of getting an unfair free kick/penalty/booking (and both of which Neymar got called out for in the last game, but unaccountably not booked for).

Now rolling any distance at all beyond where your momentum takes you, or flipping from side to side, or throwing your head back and screaming as the "tackle" hits you - none of these things are natural movements if you've actually been fouled or otherwise hurt (again, anyone who's stubbed their toe knows there's that half second or so of blissful ignorance as all your nerve endings take a deep breath before screaming at you, and for a few seconds all you really want to do is stay alone in your world of pain) and are dead giveaways that you're at best over-egging the pudding and at worst trying to get your opposition booked, and for a while was actually being called out by refs, but the worst offenders for this sort of thing also happen to be the biggest money teams, so it seems to have been quietly dropped (e.g. with Neymar who should totally have been sent off for two yellows for diving in every single game this WC, but good god Nike have spent a *lot* of money on him...)

Stopping the match to watch a replay every time someone goes down isn't really soccer anymore. For one thing, when you flop you usually just lost the ball 1v1. That's already a hindrance to enforcing flopping rules, because even if the ref correctly identifies the flop they aren't supposed to stop play if the fouled team kept/won the ball and went on about their business. When you see a ref put both arms out in front of themselves without blowing the whistle, they're using the "advantage rule" and it means "I saw that, but play-on." Unless it's offsides, there is no rule violation so blatant that the ref has to stop play right when they see it, it all comes down to context.

If you want to like soccer but hate how it's officiated, try indoor soccer instead of FIFA. Penalty boxes and unlimited substitutions, so less shenanigans.

If it was just being a belligerent and/or creepy drunk this one time, it's hard to see how that leads to the company getting banned. Him individually, sure, but not the company. If this was the latest in a string of incidents with company employees, sure, I can see it then, but this chucklefuck surely would have brought that up ("getting a little rowdy is normal, blowing off steam, etc.).

Regarding the Wisconsin hitler youth photo, I read an article yesterday where they had interviewed the kid in the very top right who isn’t making any gesture. According to him it was a quick, spur of the moment thing.
