It was 50 years old but it was in decent shape considering it was a guard bird that they just got in 2016. Yeah I'm used to H3's in Georgia, which should have been able to make it on two (provided they had the airspeed during climb out) but I don't know for sure. And yeah this was an H1 so it wouldn't surprise me if they barely had / didn't have 3 engine climb out.

And christ, I hadn't heard about the extra crew members. drat.
