Watched the first minute of the WAN show and I am going to assume that Dr. Ian Cutress is going to LTT based on their little 'depends on where he's going, maybe burger king?' comment.

Edit: Confirmed at the end of the show

Double edit: Ok I may have misunderstood it but I still think Luke accidentally confirmed it.

I'm watching the WAN Show and Luke needed to install an ad blocker to read an article (because the ads were literally covering the entire page) and Linus was visibly consternated and reminded him it's company policy that ad blockers are disallowed on company computers :nallears:

I caught that too... kinda awkward considering they're wearing Adblock shirts.

Yep the office we leased for our business was a dentist office. Part of the negotiations were that the landlord would gut it for us and help us turn it into a standard office. It's kinda weird that BusinessMan Linus didn't think to bring that up?

I'd say they desperately need an actual CEO, but a former our supplier was owned by an idiot that grew a small business into multi-million dollar company with hundreds of employees and ran through a series of professional CEOs that he drove off by meddling and micromanaging, I figure Linus would be the same.

I have a cousin who took over his father's business who grew it to a point and then hired an actual CEO. They sold it a few years later for a few hundred million. It would never have happened if they kept management in the family. This isn't even a tech business, it's food so the valuation was probably based on something tangible.

Is there not even a 1 year warranty on that thing? That's actually horrendous. I would understand not having a 3-10 year warranty because this is his first time producing a backpack. It's hard to predict how things will fail even if you try to produce a quality product, but not even willing to stand behind it for 1 year at that price point is terrible.

EngineerJoe

I wouldn't even expect a lifetime warranty for this product since it's new and not like anything they've produced before. They really have no idea what the failure rate would be. 1 year is the minimum though and 3 sounds reasonable.

I seriously doubt anyone who cared to know where he lives had trouble finding out his home address anyway. People need to stop acting like it's a big deal, if you are a youtuber with over maybe 100k subs and people ever know your real name, your home address is going to be found out by some curious people, and then the worst people are going to make an effort to get it from them and it's all over.

I think part of the problem is that if you make it too easy you're much more likely to get swatted
