Also get used to one incident with Aceveda being replayed over and over and over in previews throughout the show's run.

Documentaries should be as long as they want to be. Don't rush them because you're impatient.

Amazon has the most obscure band documentaries by far if that's your thing. I see you have that already. Still, my point stands.

I'm going through Justified right now and feeling a little guilty about it. Constantly making fun of that Aryan looking motherfucker for an entire season was pretty hilarious, though.

nate fisher posted:I think my first experience with an ‘inspired by a true story’ lie was Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I remember when everyone was watching this on VHS back in the 80’s, and coming to school swearing Leatherface and his family were real. Now we all know it was loosely inspired by the story of Ed Gein. I thought/wanted Blair Witch to be real because I was 12 and it all took place like 45 minutes from my house.

I've done the research and I'm not tone deaf I understand critiquing the lived experience of a queer poc women as a white dude really makes me come off as an rear end in a top hat but again any other subject matter and this doesn't happen. Just watch the drat movie first and come back with your opinions. If they're the same no one's going to knock you for it.

Most people aren't saying that, they just want people to watch the movie before critiquing it. Which is how it generally works.
