Great.

For a bit I watched John Ks the Goddamn George Liquor Program. I’m not sure it was ever good, but there was not a lot of stuff to compete with it in those days working in a call center. Jimmy the Idiot Boy even turned up in a Bjork video.

I remember trying to watch those on dialup and the drat cartoons wouldnt ever load. there was this stupid thing where you had to click on a sprite of Jimmy running all the way around the perimeter of the shockwave applet or whatever it was, but clicking on him never worked and it would just repeat the same dumb cartoony bongo-drums running sound effect over and over

I was a childe with dialup internet, i cant place the year.. when was dialup, when was childhood? 98? I'd found some maybe flash/shockwave series on an in browser quicktime player. An astronaut left on the moon, at first he's upset, then accepting his situation, and the premise is he's jabbering about whatever with ground control or just at the viewer.. It had an intro and a jingle and it really hit home with me. I was howling at some of the bits.
I bet if i see it now its the absolute worst worthless dribble.

'They left him behind, and sealed his doom, he's quite irrate now he's left on the moon'

I cant remember. A quick search brought up a documentary and conspiracy theories. And i remembered this thing that also destroyed me at the time, it was just hosted on a simple ftp directory thing with some other stuff. No idea if this youtube account is by the creator;

It was a cooking show hosted by a couple of college kids. The food they made wasn't great, and it wasn't healthy. The show was all about making a lot of food for cheap, and making it good enough you'd at least eat it. It was pretty much all massive casseroles made in bulk. The show had maybe 15 episodes, and it was so obscure I doubt it even exist anymore. I remember it being kinda fun in a live stream before there were live streams sort of way. Really had a cable access feel to it.

I'm not 100% sure of the story with this show, but I think the gist of it was that Trey Parker and Matt Stone got a dump truck full of money to make a show for an official Adobe flash showcase site, with full creative control. Adobe expected South Park with the numbers filed off. Instead they got an extended handjob scene in the first episode, and that necrophiliac sex scene in the second episode. Trey and Matt got out of having to produce any more episodes of the show, but kept all the money.

I feel like this just came out. I see it was six years ago, but I remember this ("this" being "JASH") was being pushed as the Next Big Thing Tim & Eric were doing after Awesome Show, Great Job ended, or something, so once upon a time it had some hype, though obviously not too much hype.

The happy hardcore track that opened Tales of the Blode always delighted me, but then I would just get disappointed and try to find the song and lose interest in watching the clip.

Edit: Oh I guess it is just episode 1 that has that song. I really did lose interest.
