> However O’Rourke denied the General Medical Council’s charge that Freeman’s “motive was to obtain testosterone to give to an athlete to improve an athlete’s performance”. Instead she claimed Freeman had got the testosterone at the request of Shane Sutton, who at the time was the head coach of Team Sky and British Cycling

For completely non performance enhancing reasons, of course.

You can't do that. You're 'locked' out of races until the one you're in finishes. You have to get special dispensation and it's usually exceptional circumstances only.

I can't bring a solid argument that the whole season (however much actually happens) isn't under exceptional circumstances. Though I can't imagine race organizers being ok with riders breezing onto the next overlapped event.

Long term ones, anyway. He's got to have picked up a concussion from stopping that fast.

sporza is reporting that he does not have any spinal, cranial or cerebral injuries, which kind of seems like a miracle but I'll take it.

The initial report above sounded like a cat scan looking for structural issues, like brain bleed, etc. Plenty of possible TBI issues that wouldn't be picked up on a scan.

Overhead loop for your hot take analysis

I see enough drifting from Wout just as Sagan closes to warrant that shoulder shove.

After the shove, Sagan goes straight for a bit and then leans left a touch.
Wout moves left pretty much in tandem and only does a half-hearted throw. It looked like he saw Bennett coming in and didn't want to risk anything at the line. Even if he threw well, he'd already lost too much speed to edge Sagan.

I initially saw Sagan's post shove riding as intentional lane blocking, but now it looks at worst intentionally borderline.
