Watched the unrated cut of Tammy and the T-Rex tonight and it's so much more fun than the theatrical cut. Even the flower eating scene makes sense (it still doesn't make any sense.)

I use butter-flavored coconut oil and cook popcorn on the stove top in a big pot. Tastes like theater popcorn but without the styrofoam staleness. Put three kernels in the pot over medium heat until they pop, remove from heat and add the rest of the kernels, wait about 30 seconds so everything can get hot, then return to medium heat and gently shake the pot until the popping stops. Sprinkle with fine salt and enjoy. I swore off movie theaters two and a half years ago and I'll never go back to one.

WW84 was pretty bad, but not awful. It needed to be 20 minutes shorter and it really fell apart in the third act. All the action sequences were the worst parts. Some nonsensical plot that the action just brushes over, and Galga Dot is just terrible with her highschool-level acting. Pedro Pascal is fun though. Soul was good and the most beautiful Pixar movie to date, although the Pixar formula/tropes are starting to show. A kids' movie with a meaningful message of self-actualization. In the Coco/Inside-Out/Onward mold. Lego Star Wars Holiday Special will keep the kids distracted while the grown-ups get drunk on wine and get dinner finished.

I watched Gorilla Interrupted and How Not To Make A Movie on the Internet Archive. As someone else who made terrible videos with friends at a young age I really appreciate what they did. Also, I love that Jay and Mike/Rich are still best friends after meeting on a message board and making an awful bad idea movie in a week.
