During the play is bs, but I could see it working pre-snap if you kept the connection open past 15 seconds on the play clock. Like identifying which guy is going to be in single coverage or look for the TE in the seam or whatever. I mean the whole thing is bullshit, but I could see cheating to talk late helping (Sean McVay should have in the Super Bowl for sure).

I got bored. My first idea was this:  Highlights include an 11-win Cleveland missing the playoffs, while the Rams get the honor of going to Washington and losing to Alex Smith and the Masters of Clownball in the Wild Card round (Or the Giants if they win the last game). But that's not dumb enough. Not nearly. Behold!  No Steelers, Ravens, or Brady. Cleveland hosts a playoff game for the first time since 1994. Lions sneak in at 7-9. An NFC West team still has to face an NFC East winner with either 5 or 6 wins. I like it.
