I’m glad that Herbie went to a team where he’d be developed well, is what I’m saying.

My initial assumption of Kwity Paye, given the description of him as "freak athlete" and "shot rapidly up draft boards" but with little mention of his college production or any interest in him prior to the draft season, is to think he'll bust hard like so many other freak athletes who shot up boards at the last minute. Is that wrong? Did anyone here watch him in college and could provide insights on him?

There's a bunch of guys who are freaks in some way but don't strike me as impact players by themselves.

this is the first draft I can remember in a long time where the offensive lineman clearly outclass the defensive lineman.

I can’t imagine the patriots not taking a QB with their number one pick I mean what else can they do? Even if they ride with Cam Newton for one more year. I really hope they don’t start going with retreads

despite the fact that this was something that happened years ago I still occasionally find myself surprised the Bengals aren't drafting at pick 21. That was just their spot in the draft for so many years.

Man if Parsons makes a fall to 14-15, Miami has to jump New England and secure that. No way he gets passed Bill.

There is no way in hell Parsons doesn't get drafted by 15 bc if he still on the board that late, someone will trade up. Parsons is a game wrecker

I am not really all that wild about any of the QB prospects after Lawrence, so i’m hoping the Lions grab a WR or a DE or something. They could really use a linebacker, and Parsons could be there at #7, but to hell with that guy. But, knowing the Lions, they’ll draft Kyle Pitts.

I can't really see SF grabbing a defensive lineman. A CB makes sense, so does trading for a draft QB or one of the fifty guys who seemingly want out. But their front 7 is pretty good.

With the help of the posters here i'm hoping i'll be more able to allow my mind to wander to relevant and realistic ideas about the NFL Draft sometime within the next six months. the power and indispensability of the mock draft and any opinion borne of a similar mindset has never been more evident or appreciated than right now, and it's all i'm asking of anyone. If anyone's got some good thoughts about where you think certain players are going to go, or who the best players are, or things of that nature, i'd really like it to be posted in this thread.
