this is from earlier in the thread but i didn't even know what a tamarind was until Jarrito's introduced me so thanks for that from my gringo rear end. i can buy the things in like kroger now so they're slowly penetrating into the country but i don't know why it didn't happen sooner.

I tried the low sugar Sprecher Orange Dream recently and I honestly didn't notice much of a difference in taste. they make a low sugar root beer too but I have not tried it personally. maybe worth a shot.
