it is such a snow day here the power went out for a number of hours. a good power outage snow day activity is: A PUZZLE! they don't require power or that much mental energy, perfect for completing while chatting with your grandmother or romance partner

I am reading comic books and grading papers and Bingo Bango is knitting a sock. In maybe 30 seconds I am going to go put on hot water for tea and tonight I think I'll make brocolli soup and rolls.

i usually like the first big snowfall days, because it feels like you have no responsibilities, or reason to go out, and you can just sit inside and chill as long as you are prepared with enough groceries (snacks). who played video games? |

I live in Minnesota so lots of snow is the norm and we get very few proper "snow days" but all the activities mentioned so far are great. Definitely used to play Madlibs on snow days.

The last time it snowed at my house was 1976. We weren’t here but the old folks next door have a picture of their house covered in snow displayed prominently in their home. What I’m saying is someone please stop hogging the snow and send it my direction
