Does anyone know how to get past that gate at Bluemoon tower? The gate on the other side of the tower, after the boss fight. I've been trying for hours now. Mind you I'm at the post-main quest content.

Just making sure before I get too far in, it doesn't really matter what I name/how I customize my main character, but my pawn becomes available for all and sundry to revile, right?

Yeah, we don't get to see your main character unless you use the photosharing option to put him or her on facebook for us to laugh at.

Crap, I've got two conflicting ideas on what to do with mine: David Xanatos or Angry Hobo. You can only ever have one pawn shared out, right?

Unless you have two storage devices, yeah. Each character gets one pawn to customize and share. So I hear you can forge seeker tokens and they'll count as regular tokens, so you can do that if you want to spend money to make money. I've never done any forging, though: How does he charge and can he do multiples at a time? Depending on that, it seems like forging a few tokens beats trying to find another 14 of the things. Anyone know if he can do war bugles too? I got 40 bugles from a quest and found about 6, so I'm wondering if I can forge a few to speed things up.

Has anyone been able to do even noticeable damage to the Ur-Dragon? I know he's a cumulative online thing, but I fought him once, then tried again and the second time he had regained like half an hp bar. I'm wondering if I did so bad the first time he healed or something.

They probably just show like 5000 health out of 1 million health, or some other arbitrary numbers.

I was riding on a chimera that had only the lion left when it jumped up into the air and I think smashed me against a branch but I honestly couldn't tell because it was so drat fast and there was a fire spell going off. In other news my fighter Rashak just made warrior and I would REALLY appreciate if someone could tell me what the gently caress to do with her. No idea which skills are good or not since I'm playing strider.

Is there any way to subvert the Land of Opportunity quest, the one where you're asked to convince people to leave their home, so that they don't have to leave?

Note to self: don't try to date royalty. I do like how there's apparently no distinction between the genders at all: the Duchess was perfectly willing to attempt to seduce my female sorcerer. Well right up until the Duke showed up and things went to hell. RentACop posted:Something about this dumb plot is really sinking into me and making me enjoy it unironically. Maybe it's the black-and-white simplicity of it all? Too many games nowadays focus too hard on morally grey choices and philosophy, while at the same time structuring things so that nothing you choose ever makes a difference. Sometimes you just wanna save the world, or kill thousands of monsters and bandits without stressing about the ethics of it all. I find Dragon's Dogma refreshing in that regard.

There's really something satisfying about getting good ratings for your pawn. Especially battle effectiveness. My little guy is growing up. Is another else getting a bunch of friend invites from this game? I don't know if it's just goons from being on the pawn list but I've gotten 4 so far.

Well, been playing for a while. I don't think anybody's summoned my pawn yet, though. All I've been getting are random poo poo items with no PSN names attached. Also everybody who didn't just kill the ogre under the Pawn Guild first time in is a wimp.

Ok it is just plain stupid how likely mages are to be tiny little girls. All the ones in the rift when I got there were, so I was looking through the list and saw one named Lou and thought, no one with the name Lou could be a tiny little girl right? Well...

Anyone know where I can find one of those Bandit masks that covers the bottom half of the face? I think they're red. Also, for anyone hesitating switching vocations if you're getting bored, give it a shot. I'm really liking Strider, after playing a mage/sorcerer for 35 levels and I don't feel particularly gimped at all. The difference in playstyle is fun as hell and I feel like it's almost a new game. My one complaint is that I have no interest in using bows, but I can't assign any of my dagger skills to my left trigger. -Blackadder- fucked around with this message at 07:45 on May 27, 2012 |

Additionally you can get the golden idol by doing the quest where you take Farnival's daughter around the city, and give it to the main Gran Soren shopkeeper which will open up some really high level, but expensive archstaves. I'm looking at them right now so I can tell you what they are if you like.
