No abortions within Auckland city limits, I guess? At the rate Auckland is expanding, it will consume the entire country soon anyway, so conquer Auckland and then play the waiting game or something.

I guess I meant to say was he could say there are to be no more abortions in Auckland, not that it would really matter. It's kind of moot anyway since I doubt Len Brown won't win this by a landslide.

I feel really good that I spent time reading candidates' goals and profiles, but on the other hand I feel a little bad that when I got to preferentially electing the Auckland District Health Board I just went "okay I'm done voting the night" and gave up.

The rest of Auckland could enjoy the same benefits of being "As Free As Possible" of toxic chemicals, waste and other pollution by adopting our proven organic methods throughout the whole region.
After feeling only half alive for many years my health dramatically improved when I simply stopped drinking fluoridated water in 2012. This constant exposure to toxic chemicals undermines the health & wellbeing of the whole population.
We must get pesticides off the streets, parks, roads & beaches and stop dumping highly toxic hydrofluosilicic acid into our water supply. Then Auckland can blossom

Even more disappointed looking back that rather than investigate the effects that the newly added fluoride may be having on the intellect of students, the Dean of Auckland Medical School chose to dish out pills that almost destroyed my personality as well as my IQ.

Chucked the pills down the toilet (Sorry, fish!) and enjoyed life away from Auckland until came back again in 1977 for my 2 sons to attend Rosedale Alternative School.

35 years of torture trying to maintain some quality of life with all manner of health regimes - most of which entailed avoiding fluoridated water and eating heaps of raw organic food which of course worked but at great effort and expense.

and then

Stopped drinking fluoridated tap water on 20th October 2012 when took up offer of free stand & 4 bottles of Tongariro water at the legendary Eric Rush's New World in Browns Bay:

These anti-flouride people do know that to get an even close to toxic dose of it you'd have to drink water constantly for something like a week straight without stopping for anything. You'd die from water poisoning before you could ever ingest enough flouride.

Are these people also against iodized salt?

After that awful Seven Sharp episode 'investigating' the issue I tried arguing that point with some of the people on their facebook page. Despite pointing this out and a whole bunch of other half-truths and outright lies these people appeared to never question themselves for a second. Their views tend not to be reasoned into them so it can be pretty loving impossible to reason them out.

He does have a good point about lower turnout providing opportunities for 'eccentric' candidates

Good example is the ALCP guy running for Otago DHB with ALCP under his name as a ticket who I reckon has a running chance lol. One identifiable and popular policy (cannibinoid medicines) on the voting paper itself, no booklets or anything required

I dunno actually what her chances are like - I try to follow along on http://wccwatch.wordpress.com/ which seems like the best source out there. Is it even possible to accurately poll STV?

If she hangs in there I think she'll be joined by a more leftward council - the labour and green candidates seem to be better organised. Her lack of achievement at least partially resulted from a lack of support this time around.

I think WCCW predicted Paul Eagle as deputy if Celia returns.
