Brood War's story was definitely better than HotS (though not amazing). I still really love HotS' story because it's completely and utterly hilarious and ridiculous, and there are some cool visual designs.

They're aware of it. I think they did a whole April Fool's thing about how they were renaming all of their properties to things with the initials HotS. "Properly" Heroes of the Storm is supposed to be "Heroes" while the SC2 expansion is "HotS", but nobody actually cares.

Which reminds me, it's been six months since a lot of these have been requested. In order to prevent the request thread from become an unwieldy list of every game ever made, I plan to take down all requests over six months old. The intent is to keep the list manageable as well as not make it a chore for LPers to go through and see what sorts of games the current subforum membership are interested in seeing.

If you don't want to see a particular game removed from the list, please re-request it. I will leave it up but also add a star (*) next to it so that people know it's been re-requested. Hopefully in this way, that will identify which games the subforum wish to see that have been waiting the longest for an LP.

Let me know if you want any of these games to stay on the list, or they're coming down:

I will re-request Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. The PSP version would be fine too, but the HD port is probably going to be both easier on the eyes and easier to get a hold of. I'd do it myself since it is a part of the Fabulous Exploding Crystals mythology, but that game and I just don't get along at all. Ideally video, but I'm not picky.

I'd like the PSP game Nayuta no Kiseki to be re-added, I still think that game is really good and worth sharing. Again, it's like a more modern take on Brave Fencer Musashi or Threads of Fate, and it's a really really good one with excellent music and tight controls.

It's a Zelda-like for the Genesis about a boy who is celebrating his 14th birthday by going out to start killing monsters, as law demands. I think the game has a cool story and it also has you throwing elemental boomerang swords at your enemies.

e: oh, it does have the mega-buster problem of charging up your attack making a really annoying sound. keep that in mind

I want to re-request Warzone 2100, an RTS for both the PS1 and PC, it's a pretty cool game which allows you to create your own units through different parts you gain through either researching them after you either find them or steal them from your enemies, something that hasn't really been done too much in my opinion!

Also it has a really cool feel to it since it's a post-apocalyptic game and everything's gone to poo poo so it's your job to try to unfuck the world by being cool dudes who aren't crazy.

Seconding this. In fact, I'd like to re-request my idea for someone who's better at them than I am to start up a Zelda-like megathread. There's so many good ones out there, and a huge percentage of them are obscure as all get out.

Also seconding the re-request of Half-Minute Hero 2, hopefully by Kaubocks, as his LP of part one is fantastic.

Finally, I'll re-request the co-op War of the Monsters. I'd definitely like to see that.

There's this PC adventure game I heard about recently called Voodoo Kid, it was released in 1997 by Infogrames and it looked interesting, kind of like it was taking notes from Grim Fandango's art style. I tried to find a copy to play and see for myself but as far as I know all the English copies are sold, and the only copies left on eBay are in German, and I can't be arsed to translate it.

All I want to know is if anyone has a copy of this game and if so, can they tell me what I missed out on?
