 16 Players! However many days! THIS is Something Awful Survivor! Welcome to a new forum reality experience: Survivor Wandering Woods. This is my first time running one of these, and I’m fully aware of the scale of the shoes I intend to fill. For old and new survivors alike, there will be much to experience for the very first time this season. Unlike seasons past, the theme this season is not tied to any one SA community but rather a convention of my creation: The Wandering Woods. Please read the OP carefully, as there are some crucial differences in how this season will function compared to seasons past. Whether you’re a player, a fellow moderator, or a popcorn-munching viewer, we’re happy to have you here! Come and join the discord! (UNLESS YOU'RE PLAYING IN WHICH CASE WAIT UNTIL THE GAME STARTS) The schedule for this game is as follows: ALL TIMES ARE LISTED IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME. Monday and Wednesday at 9PM there will be a challenge. I intend to keep these challenges to an hour. Tuesday and Thursday at 9PM there will be a tribal council. I intend to keep these pretty snappy as well. If you are on the losing tribe or have made it to the merge, it is imperative that you at least submit a vote for Tribal Council. Ideally, you will be present for it. Failure to submit a vote will lead to an automatic self-vote. Tribal Council Proceedings Tribal Council is going to function a bit differently this season. If you are scheduled to attend tribal council, here is your day. Sometime in the morning, you will receive a prewritten tribal council question. Do your best to respond to the prompt in your confessional channel. Your response may be written, an audio file, or even a video file if you feel inclined. When tribal council starts, two different things will happen: I will be going onto twitch at https://twitch.tv/honkerwatch and will be conducting tribal live, where I will be reading everyone’s responses. Simultaneously, I will post everyone’s responses in the thread. After all the answers have been presented, I will open the thread to a general discussion. Producers may interject here. If there’s activity and lively conversation, I will allow that to commence for up to 15 minutes or so. Once discussion, if any, has died down or reached a natural stopping point, we will vote. Voting is the same, in principle. Presentationally, all votes must be submitted in a manner that is suitable for black and white printing as the votes will physically be read for each tribal. You may draw your votes, type them, or whatever you like, but know that I will print them out for display. Also, if you have any advantages you wish to play, you are to let me know that you intend to play them as you cast your vote. If you have an advantage and don’t choose to play it, but somebody else plays theirs, I will let you know, and you will have another chance to play before the votes are revealed. Additionally, I will sometimes take to twitch, when appropriate, for challenges. More twists to follow, but for now, that’s what’s new! Rules:
