King Nakamoto: [points to another man] And you, what is your profession? Man in Black 2: FBI Agent, sir. King Nakamoto: FBI Agent. [turns to a third man] King Nakamoto: You? Man in Black 3: Banker. It was my birthday Saturday and my ex girlfriend asked me to go out to dinner and she'd pay and then we went out to dinner and when the check came she went to the bathroom for a really long time then when the check was still there she was like "I'm not actually going to pay" so welp.

FCKGW posted:can someone give me a breakdown of the sec/fincen happenings SEC is "it's illegal to issue unregulated stocks even if you call them something other than stocks" FINCEN is "It's illegal to have an unregulated business that transmits money even if you call it something other than money, everyone has to follow money transmitter laws" Basically both are "you can't just get around financial regulation by converting money to poker chips then trading in those".

the SEC is out phishing for jurisdiction. This is exactly what the courts do to secure people's consent for traffic court. -- Through asking "R U guilty? No Guilty? or No Contest?" As soon as you answer, you have fallen for their trap. Now they have jurisdiction. The correct answer is to CHALLENGE their question with your own, namely: I am not assuming ANYTHING here, including if your statutes even apply to me or are Constitutionally valid. So, prove on paper that any of your crap applies to me. "I _______ (state your name), present myself in pro pria persona for a special appearance, as to be distinguished from a general appearance and respectfully ask [the court to direct the prosecution] to prove for and on the record all elements of jurisdiction binding me to perform in any way whatsoever." If it happenS to You guys, I would write a letter asking essentially what power or authority do they pretend to have by questioning my private right to contract and demanding documents from me. I would also ask for their probable cause or reasonable suspicion of a crime or suspected crime. The bottom line -- these guys don't have jurisdiction and they know it. They are phishing. I would not tell these people ANYTHING. see Amendment #5. And Further I would remind them of my reserved rights under Amendment #9 and #10. IF they come with the argument that you need to prove you are not a criminal, then tell them to screw. It's their duty to prove that you are engaged in a crime, not yours to prove a negative. (remember we are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty???) IF they threaten you, tell them: "the claim and exercise of a right (to remain silent in this case) can not be converted into a crime." See Miller vs. US, a supreme court ruling. LEARN YOUR CONSTITUTION!!! Start with Constitutional Law by Carl Miller on YouTube. and F them F'em all!

TIL a subpoena is just the legal equivalent of saying, "just curious, are you doing any crimes? you don't have to answer if that's too personal. " thanks /r/legaladvice
