Landslide trailer is out, not sure if this is news.

E: guess not. New Elusive target is a very easy silent assassin - the bathroom I usually lure Novikov into is very handy once again

Does using the emetic syringe on an ET lock you in or can you still restart after that? Seems more safe than lethal since you're not screwed if someone rounds the corner and spots you.

Generally, no. Emetic doesn't kill a target and not killing a target doesn't fulfill a mission requirement. Until a mission objective is completed you can restart. Just be aware that IO is sneaky and can change this for an ET in the future, but in general you should be fine.

Remember that this will be the first ET available to people who get the disc next week, so it was probably designed to be easier.

It doesn't count as anything because eventually the NPC stops puking and goes back to their loop.

Why are these teenagers not at home studying their Latin vocabulary?
I had the problem that the wrong model would always come to investigate the bathroom for five attempts, so I made sure that the target was the only one on the runway (no one could go before him, no one after until he was coming back from the runway) by bumping slightly into every model. This causes them to go back to the dressing room for a bit. Easy to get the target alone when he is finally the only one who can hear your coins (and when Victor and his bodyguard don't decide to stroll on by...).

Good thing about this ET: Him bitching about "Helmet".
Bad thing about this ET: Wearing the full Helmut outfit around him doesn't do anything.

e: Looks kind of similar to existing Sapienza missions, but I guess it makes sense for them to try and get as much as they can out of the more sandboxy maps.
Being focused around an entirely different part of the map will probably make it feel pretty different though, and it does take place in the afternoon instead of the middle of the day. A House Built on Sand felt pretty different from the standard mission despite very little having actually been changed apart from taking place at night.

Good rule of thumb to let the person reverse whatever you tampered with before knocking them out or someone else could investigate while you're changing disguises or hiding the body.

Related to that, it took me a while to understand that when the "Area is Being Investigated" message first comes up it means someone is coming, but if you leave to go hide and then come back into the area and that message pops up again before subduing the first person who came by it means that you've simply re-entered the area that is being investigated. It doesn't mean that a second person is coming and two investigations will overlap. That scared me so many times.

We don't need to have that dialogue because it's obvious, trivial, and has already been had a thousand times.
I like how 47 can't turn off a sink.

I also like my new winter coat! It looks like the target has a whole alternative pattern once the show ends, but I imagine not many people will see him hitting on party attendees.

Steeeeriiiiiiiiike twooooooo!

One NPC at a time will be interested in the distraction that you create by turning on a sink, radio, etc. If you incapacitate the person investigating before the distraction has been turned off, someone else will IMMEDIATELY become interested in it and start walking toward it to investigate. You can watch it happen on the mini-map. That's why it's best to let the soon-to-be-victim turn off the distraction before you take them out.

Why do you think he really killed Soders? What Diana may never realise is that Soders' apparent double-cross was actually a triple-cross faked by 47 to finally get some peace and quiet. All that paperwork, man…

SA'ed the Blackmailer in a way that was kinda unintentionally cinematic:

Started as a stylist and waited on one side of the catwalk until the target was finished and was walking along the uninhabited side stage. Hit him with a lethal syringe and he ragdolled into a position where it looked like he was just casually leaning against some equipment. I liked the idea that an observer - had they seen him - would've thought he was just hanging out instead of pulling a Weekend at Bernie's

Got the Absolution suit and the tux with gloves. One more SA to the winter coat.

The only thing preventing you from sniping Soders from the mountain ledge is a privacy screen in the director's office. Too bad that's there, because it actually would have been pretty drat funny being able to snipe two targets within 2 seconds of the mission starting.

You can't kill Soders with a gun, as far as I know. They'll just patch him up straight away.
I tried shooting him with a pistol once, it didn't take.

You can eliminate him by shooting his heart though. Even through the glass door it's behind.
