Moo went to the vet today. She's down to 8 lb so the vet thinks there's some hyperthyroid thing going on considering she eats like a pig. The litter box stuff seems stress related but they're running for a UTI.

Moo! Be good! If it is a hyperthyroid thing, don't be too stressed about it; it's relatively common in cats and they just about always respond amazingly well to medication. Once you start getting the pills into them their quality of life shoots right back to normal and they keep on going. That said, hope you enjoy pilling cats! good news: Refurb seems to have gotten over waking me up at 4:30am every day by yelling at me a bunch bad news: Refurb has upped her game, and now wakes me up at 4:30am every day by full-speed vaulting over the back of the futon and body-slamming the window as hard as she can

moo used the litter box today and ate a poo poo load of food. she seems a lot better. going forward in gonna give her a lot more wet food for dinner. maybe I've been underfeeding her and all lab work came back good. she's just gotta put on some weight.
