cool startup feel posted:whats the next upgrade from an aeropress? what's your goal? a vac-pot operates on the same principles as an aeropress but with steam pressure pulling the coffee through a filter instead of a human-powered piston, but it's a lot more work and cleaning than an aeropress imo aeropress really hits a sweet spot between labor required and amount of control you have: you can do pourover or immersion, lots of control over filter tech, soak duration, temperature, etc. plus it's good for filtering cold brew too
