Space Station 13 is an old game people loved for the variety of chicanery you could get up to in it (like building bombs, making drugs, and accidentally spilling lava everywhere), and it was originally coded in a really dumb engine that forced playing in some weird app called Byond that required a very unintuitive button system to work among other things. This is somebody's effort to port the game to a slightly less dumb engine that at the very least lets people play the game standalone, although if 2017-18 hadn't happened yet I'd also hope that maybe it wouldn't take something like five buttons to give someone an item any more either. But of course it did so this is probably a direct port complete with original dumb confusing garbage interface.

It's possible that their monkeys on typewriters method of game development has worked out at some point, but generally they're in the business of publishing rubbish with just enough of a hook that somebody will buy it.

VR is a scourge (probably depending on whether you work night shift at the poser model factory) There's a sequel too. These "games" seem to be tapping into a very specific demographic, but the elements are so disjointed, I can't work out exactly what demographic that is.

Their elbow and knee bend in an awkward looking way. The music is awkward, and so is their dancing. Negative review posted:Got som' jiggly boobs, that's a plus. I was just trying to go for a terrible pun but, it's a series about a fleet being crewed by high school girls for a few days as a part of a practical exam or somesuch, it being a naval school. I've only seen one episode, so I can't comment if it's any good or not though.

I'm kind of curious, since steam has no curation at all, what does it take to actually get removed from steam? I remember way back in the day, Stalin vs Martians was taken down for being completely terrible but it looks like a piece of art compared to these asset flips.Icedude posted:Oh so it's a cheap knockoff of the one about tanks, but about ships instead. Sentinals of the Store have some good write-ups - https://steamcommunity.com/groups/Sentinels_of_the_Store#announcements. Mostly egregious abuse, it seems. quote:When Valve apply these "bans" the reasoning is usually tied to marketplace manipulation, which usually involves the developer employing a bot network to farm items in their game to then post the games on the marketplace and there were also bans placed for review policy violations for developers writing their own reviews.

Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma was a train wreck in every possible way, including mushy and delayed controls, which is the kiss of death on a fighting game. However, the fighting didn't occur until ~4 hours of "story", which many people felt was a cheesy trick to prevent people from pushing the refund button until it was too late. Steam must have agreed, because they not only pulled the game, but automatically gave everyone a refund. Still, mostly Steam does jack poo poo. There are "community curators", but they have no actual power.
