Rhyno, just leave the fan switch on your thermostat set to "on" for now, and get the fan going - it'll be kinda chilly when the heat kicks off, but the fan will run until the motor fully dies. Some cheap thermostats, for some reason, will also force the heat on when you do this, no loving idea why (the thermostat my old apt came with did that, same with the one my current apt came with, same with the one my parents house used to have.. but only when set to heat ). If it does that, turn off the furnace breaker, install a jumper between Rh (or R) and G at either end, turn the breaker back on, and get the fan spinning however you have to. Maybe spin the motor as fast as you can immediately before kicking on the breaker? (I have no idea how the ECM motors work, so YMMV) The Door Frame posted:It's been 12 hours since my last smoke. So did Pep Boys close all of their parts stores? The two I know of near me both converted to service and tires only, closing the retail store entirely. Their website makes it sound like they sell parts online, but doesn't give me an option to pick up in store or anything. I need a Kraco radio and tacky chrome, damnit.

Great work quitting! I'm only 10 months in but have ZERO cravings, and the big test was going to the pub with my mates who are heavy smokers. There are many good reasons to not smoke, allow me to tell you about yet another one: When I did my thesis I cooperated with the Dept. of Vascular Surgery at the largest hospital in Denmark. The head of that Dept. did some research on the side, sorta your down-to-earth, practical research, based on internal data from the department. In short, he took a bunch of smokers undergoing surgery. Minor to medium, amputations, things like that, nothing a healthy young person shouldn't be able to recover from no problem. He then told the smokers to not smoke from six weeks prior to surgery to six weeks after. Some complied, others didn't. The difference in complications between the two groups was significant, which tells you two things: 1) not just is smoking bad for you, it's continuously bad for you and 2) it's never too late to benefit from not smoking.

Mark that down as the FOURTH Monday morning in a row with an accident slowing the freeway down to a crawl. Single car smashed into the barrier, one would assume that he was following someone too close and lost control when they had to stop suddenly. I jumped ahead by like 40 points at the end of last week, and figured I'd have it in the bag with Lamar Jackson, Aaron Jones, Nick Chubb, and a favorable Chris Godwin because Evans was out. Nope, my opponent snagged one of their lower WR's (Perriman) off of waivers right before and Winston clearly favored him over Godwin, and then Godwin went out. You're lying to yourself if you think you'll go down in nicotine levels I absolutely know this. I've just been craving nicotine lately for some reason. Probably stress, but I don't want to smell like cigarettes. My regular bar actually allows smoking inside - I always wind up leaving with my eyes burning, but they particularly cater to the third shift crowd (lots of grocery store workers, warehouse workers, doctors, nurses, etc in there at 7am). Very rare for bars in Texas now, at least in major metro areas, to allow smoking - most cities have banned all forms of indoor smoking aside from at home. A lot of apartment complexes and rental properties have banned smoking inside, some go so far as to ban it anywhere on the property. In the cities that do still allow smoking in a business, it's almost always ONLY in bars (not a bar+grill; they have to make the majority of their money from alcohol sales). The city I live in is like that - they allow smoking in a bar, but not anywhere else. Growing up, I remember my parents lighting up in grocery stores. I think my dad was the last holdout for smoking inside - his office building banned smoking inside, but since he worked weekends, when the building was technically "closed" (they even shut down the HVAC on weekends), he'd still smoke in the elevators and in his actual office (only his office, not the rest of the floor). Eventually got bitched at enough by building management over smoking in the elevators that he took his smoking to the stairwells. Oh you sweet summer child. I ran into my neighbor yesterday. His Cobalt got THRASHED a couple of months ago; it's been parked on the far edge of the property since then (bent rear suspension, rear end smashed hard, back window broken out, rear lights gone, trunk pried open to get the spare tire out). Asked him what happened. He said the guy in front of him slammed on their brakes on the highway; he slammed on his, but couldn't avoid him, so he swerved.. with the brakes firmly locked up (no ABS on his car). Spun across the highway into the concrete barrier, but at least he didn't hit anybody else, and wasn't hurt aside from whiplash. He blames it all on the guy in front of him. And not him following too close. Frankly I'm amazed the apartment management hasn't slapped a tow sticker on it yet, but awhile back I talked with the head maintenance guy about parking the Saturn until I could sell it and told them it wasn't driveable, asked where I could park it to keep from getting towed. Told them I wouldn't put it in the garage because of the gas leak. They told me to park it on the far edge of the lot, exactly where this guy is parked. I know when I moved in, there was a Civic that was obviously long abandoned (it had a license plate style that hasn't been issued in well over a decade, our plates have to be replaced every 7 years, registration was 6 or 7 years out of date, and the paint had completely flaked off of the plate), parked where he's parked now. My GF said that Civic had been there at least 6-7 years; it finally disappeared about a year ago.

OK, now here's some automotive insanity. My hometown, 1971: First, for those that nerd, yes, it had a standard and the hemi, which was not a official option. The man who bought it from the dealer made part of this purchase a transmission swap. This man was the dad of a friend I had in high school. He only had it a year or two, then selling it to build his house. He regretted this decision extremely later - not exactly sure if it was because he loved the lunitic thing, or because the great muscle car investment bubble started when I was in high school in the mid-late 90s. I'll let y'all tell me how much such a car is worth now, but: $7800 = $50,258 today, or $6500 = $41,882 The car not only still exists, but I've seen it. I'm 90% sure this is the Dodge Daytona Hemi at Vernon's Car Museum in Swift Current. The current owner in his restoration put the automatic transmission back in. (TL;DR one of the richest guys in Atlantic Canada is a car nut who operates, often with himself at the door, a mind-blowing car museum in rural Newfoundland. Let me put it this way: one of the cars he has is a original hemi 'cuda convertible with a 1 of 1 option package with aprox. 8000 km on it.)

Is it really worth getting addicted or is the addiction more related to relief from withdrawal? Like if it's a mini-cocaine or meth buzz I could understand, but if all it does is make you crave it when you stop, then what loving good is it anyway?
