I used to be a Twitch mod for WackyJacky and the reality is that he's super indecisive when it comes to what game to play (besides the usual PUBG) while also being very impulsive in trying out new games. There were multiple streams where he got sick of PUBG for a bit and just trawled through Steam buying a bunch of games that he proceeded to try for like 15 minutes each. He also tends to not do sponsored streams but whenever he has he has very clearly disclosed it. I also think CIG wouldn't target a battle royale focused streamer from Denmark, but what do I know. If it helps the amusement factor, he did get stuck in Star Citizen prison for 4+ hours shortly after he started playing it.

Getting there (after it bitched I had 7.9 GB free out of 16GB) Then my freebie firewall stuff said very few people (exact number was 5) bitching about how it wasn't digitally signed. Tried to take a screenshot of that one but then the game somehow finally loaded and was presented with this.

Aliens: Colonial Marines has a VR mod now. Probably better than SC. e: Actually there's a load of VR shovelware that's probably better. So can't make it past character phase. What is the trick? I tried the different full screen/full screen windowed to no avail. And of course just picking those are a janky rear end mess.

I mean you have a major release today and you cant even show it off because you have incompetent people running your ship : People like you are why most developers don't bother showing the development process and allow for a playable version of the game as they develop said game. You are seeing every issue and problem that every development team has to deal with in any large program ever made. This isn't unusual at all. Try enjoying the ride. Maybe learn something at the same time.

Honestly I've said for a while though that if you're after the Star Citizen experience (walking around inside a spaceship, running with a crew of friends, occasionally shooting aliens with a gun) you really can't do better than Pulsar: Lost Colony right now. Though the new crop of space sim/mmo monstrosities like Starbase and Dual Universe might change that.
