I dunno, going from a quirky self-promotion blog to an open exploration of your failed marriage framed in the context of being a butcher... if nothing else, I admire her swinging so far in the opposite direction of what her fans probably expected.

The Cameo posted:I was just reminded of when Spy Kids 3 came out and we got it at our theater, but whoever was the projectionist on duty the night it came in and was spliced together accidentally put like reel four in front of reel three, so the movie was now out of order. As someone who worked on the floor of a theater, it's a very simple explanation why you only had one complaint, it's a kid's movie. Kids movies exist so that mom can just throw them in the theater and have 1.5 hours in the dark not thinking about their kids. You ever had to clean one of those theaters? gently caress man, kids running up and down the asiles even after the credits, popcorn and other poo poo (sometimes literal) everywhere. We always had to bust out the leaf-blowers just to get everything in one spot for easy cleanup. The only thing worse than a kid's movie to clean was anything over 2 hours. On the plus side of those, the half empty buckets of popcorn and drinks were usually neatly stacked on the floor. Occasionally you'd find an unopened, or mostly unspoiled box of candy in the cup-holders.

Taylor Lautner was the main star of action movie Abduction, among the cast of Love Actually wannabe Valentines Day, the only real Native American main character in Adam Sandler's Ridiculous Six, and had a major role in the second season of Scream Queens. He is not in much beyond those.

There was so much popcorn, just everywhere.

Brie Larson is a video game fan, specifically a big Nintendo nerd, she’s going to keep saying it until it actually happens because it’s probably an actual dream role for her Pretty sure the reaction would be “is she going to dye her hair green?” “Yes” “okay then”

They milked the RE cow dry and will presumably try to do exactly the same thing here. There's years of poo poo films in Mon Hun I'm sure. Hopefully with fewer dead crew members.

I'm torn because I don't generally find the time to watch schlock, and the RLM RE clips look insanely bad, but otoh I really like that she gets to keep starring in leading roles as she ages, which you really don't see in action movies for women like you do for men. Really, if it was the kind of B movie I normally watch, like martial arts or shoot em up, I'd probably be thrilled.
