The base car is fine. It's strong, not un-fun to drive, and reasonable. But the electrical is pure nightmare fuel. Right now, my 2-axis swivel headlights work fine, but the car flags them as broken, so 60% of the time I have a flashing yellow light on the dash. The driver's door won't lock, the left turn signal randomly fast flashes and says there's a problem with the left front bulb, but it's fine and the problem comes and goes. The headliner just poo poo itself. The perforated leather, that's in the car you're looking at too, likes to tear at the perforations. Edit: And I bought it about a year ago for $1200 and had to drop another $1k for a steering lock failure that required dealer programming. So I'm into it for about $2500 right now, and that's about what I'd say it's worth. Book value is almost $4k, but they just don't bring that. And don't get me wrong, I like the car. Well poo poo, I'm annoyed. Trying to renew my car registration, but I haven't received the renewal form yet. Got the car inspected. Can't renew online because apparently the state doesn't know about the inspection yet (despite it showing online when I look on the vehicle inspection history website). Normally they know the same or next day. I now live in a different county, so I can't just go to the grocery store to renew it (that's a thing here, and sometimes cheaper than doing it directly with the county). Lost the title in the move, so I can't update the drat address on file (you need the title #). I did manage to get a replacement title an hour ago, but I have to do the address update by mail. There's a form you can fill out attached to the renewal letter to update your mailing address, but it doesn't update the car's actual location (or county of registration...) tl;dr gonna have to wait for the address update to be received and address updated, then I can make an appointment (they're booked solid over a week out) at the tax office. My heart goes out to all of you goons with kids. It must be really rough right now and I love you all. I refused to be discouraged so I’m doing my best to enjoy my day. The weather is perfect here in Atlanta and I’ve gotten the chance to drive the 335d with the windows down. The back right turn signal is out which is fine bc no one expects a bmw driver to use their turn signals anyways. I totally get now why BMW guys are a thing. You are king of the highway in this thing. Yeah Tesla’s have more torque but this thing pulls just as hard at 100mph (in Minecraft of course).

I immediately went worst case scenario last night - which is Trump dies or is incapacitated. That lets the RNC have a do-over, and it lets Trump off the hook. And puts the country in constitutional crisis trying to figure it all out. Death is the easiest, most certain way Trump and his backers maintain their delusions.
