it would be funny to never see Morgan Blackhand, like in 2077 he is nothing more than a Militech mascot used to sell cheap poo poo

give us Shaitan instead, he's a full 'borg and could easily survive the 50 year timeskip like Smasher

I can't tell if this Cutting Edge perk is working. It's supposed to buff all my crafted weapon stats by 5% but I'm not seeing any number changes in the inventory screen. It is actually working according to some Reddit megapost about which perks are and aren't working, but it's just not noticeable.

Re: secret ending, you dont always necessarily need to pick that specific dialogue tree to get it if you manage to get your Johnny affinity up to 70%. I used console to give myself an extra 10% and I was able to do it without taking that dialogue path.

From what I understand you don't even need 70% if you choose that dialogue, it just lets you do the quest regardless of your %

They may have just made 70% a flag to allow it without even making it an obtainable number which is kinda hilarious.

Some people are reporting you can be at 60% you just have to wait long enough at the dialog screen, but it didn't work for me.

I tried this after seeing a few people mention it, didn't work for me. I think I mistakenly got all of the correct options but one or two. Kinda dumb because literally all I wanted to do in my first playthrough was exactly what the secret ending entails.

So far as I know there's only two that matter: "the guy who saved my life" and "nah, hosed that up too". I don't know how you get Johnny Points outside of that conversation though, the number just occasionally went up for me

The quest pacing in this game is so odd. I've been staring down the meet with Hanako for what feels like half the game as I push up to level 50, and right as I hit it I got Kerry's feud line.

Doing his friend sidequests and not popping the blue pill during Tapeworm 1 (or 2?) are two I can confirm. There are also particular dialogue choices during Tapeworm, one of which is probably obvious and the other is about Mikoshi being terrible because they can change who you are.

The Pacifica rollercoaster is the only one that you can repair. I kind of wish the other rides could be repaired and used.

Was the Tapeworm one at the Sunset Motel, where he talks about growing up watching corporations becoming colonisers, loving everyone over?

In my first playthrough as Streetkid-Valerie, I had no idea what the gently caress I was doing, and my Johnny-meter never really went that high (50%, IIRC). I think I ended that conversation with a blue pill.

Corpo-Valerie got to 70%, and it was the Oil Fields talk that pushed it up.

Tapeworm is a three-parter that plays out at the end of the major questlines in Act 2 (Hellman, Hanako and Voodoo Boys).

After 60+ hours 116 hours I finally wrapped up the main storyline after almost 100%-ing the rest of the game. Only ran through one of the endings so far. Despite its flaws this was a really, really good game. Some of the side-quests and stories were pretty dark (for example the "farm" of kidnapped boys). And the ending I chose was... heavy. I have a save point before the decision tree starts so I will probably try some other paths later this week.

And mods.

edit: lol just realized my saves give total playtime... jesus.

It's possible the third progression tracker is there to give you another artificial source of urgency? Not really sure why they went with the "you have TWO WEEKS" route, when as people on this very page have pointed out, a ton of the best quest chains don't open up until you're at the very end of the game.

Ignore him - guy had at least two sock puppets and one was a PRC Stan. A rendering and streaming engine like Cyberpunk's is worth tens of millions of dollars and I can definitely see a real game company with state protection from IP suits buying it.

It'd be hard to get bored on this ship!
I'm trying to beat the last boxing fight and its hard as hell (I'm level 50 and one , maybe two, punches takes me out)

So I'm trying to level up my streetbrawler skills. Pacifica seems to respawn everyone a ton, but I'm constantly going around punching them all out, repeatedly. They keep coming out, but the beatings continue.

Secretly force socialism, communism and imperialism types of government onto the people of the United States of America.

I also finally pulled the trigger on finishing my first playthrough, after wrapping up the Kerry quests and deciding that the Beat on the Brat questline was just not interesting or fun for me. Like others, although I got to 60% relationship with Johnny, I did the Oil Field conversation correctly, and the secret ending would not trigger after 10 minutes or so waiting on the roof.

Seeing some folks speculating that certain things have to be said/done during Chippin' In, and I also saw something about needing to look between the gun and Johnny while waiting. Then again I'm playing on PS4 so who loving knows, it might just be glitched.

I'll give it another go, as I'd like a harder final mission than the one I went with (For Whom The Bell Tolls). I'm at the level cap and nothing about the assault on Arasaka tower was remotely difficult, least of all the fight with Smasher.

That said, I enjoyed playing this game, warts and all on a last-gen console. Hope the DLCs bring some interesting stuff.

Agni: Queen of Darkness was originally a game called "the lost" buy Irrational Games but they apparently had to choose between the lost and Freedom Force. I was really looking forward to it at the time.

Apparently, FXLabs Studios, an Indian developer, bought the source code after Irrational tanked, licensed a Bollywood actress's likeness over the original main character, gave some characters more Indian names, and viola, we have the well known Hindu myth of Dante's Inferno.

I bought the game when I found out, it was a pain in the rear end to do through their launcher... the game wasn't really, uh, polished well. I got stuck around the 6th Circle, there were some icy jumps IIRC?
