That's not universal, there's restaurants she likes, especially where they focus on a regional cuisine. A few years ago, we even lived next to another neighbor who ran an amazing restaurant, but she moved away and the new owner made her restaurant into an interchangeable "pan-asian" hipster restaurant. It was sad.

And we have MSG in the house, but pretty much only because my wife wanted me to replicate a KFC sandwich they make in China.

I told my girlfriend when I got home and she said she was proud that I tried to help her and that she did sound rude but that I shouldn't have said what I said. I personally think she kind of deserved it but I don't want to be an rear end in a top hat.

He's also stolen my property that was at my mom's house (a safe that had a no money in it, just a personal item).

I'm just wondering is there anything legal I can do to get the over 12k+ he owes me.

Usually he has no issue with walking but obviously the weed he took was laced with poo poo (weed should calm you down and he wasn't calm).

Also, over the past few years he's been getting deep into conspiracy. He's a vegan (I'm veg too so not inherently bad) but believes in an alkaline diet. He believes in astral projection, different realms, black ppl being extraterrestrial, numerology, etc. He believes he goes to the astral plains to get true knowledge. He calls ppl who go to work bots and he trades stocks to make money. He's successful with that. However because I don't believe what he's saying (according to him "I don't want to believe ") he stopped paying rent for an apartment I got in my name for him. Also he was in jail (for speeding "evading police" bullshit honestly) and I got him a lawyer for 7k. He wont pay me back until I believe the bullshit he believes. He has the ability to pay me back but won't until I "wake up".

Any suggestions on how I can help my brother before he's too far gone- especially with the drug?

I work at a college in a similar kind of clerical role that gives me access to a ton of personal information about people, and I guarantee you that this lady never once thought about it being illegal. Administrative workers rarely get much if anything in the way of "THIS IS ILLEGAL TO SHARE" like, say, doctors do, they're just expected to do paperwork and enter data on computers.

Not that this in any way excuses the lady, I'm just not surprised that an office drone didn't act cognizant of the fact that they were illegally sharing confidential information.

I mean, there is a term for re-imported food (and it may just be "re-imported"): dishes that were copied from another country's cuisine and then liked enough by the original country to bring back over in their new form. It's not even just commercialized versions of the dishes. Sometimes it's just another country's take on them or adapted to different regions of the world. He wants to cut off all his friends that encourage him to drink heavily and especially this one who encouraged him to cheat. Told me he will go to rehab and therapy. Told me he will move to a different city with me if I want since I’ve been wanting to move for a while.

I just don’t know what to do. I’m torn because they were only messages and the sex was when we were very new, but he lied. Again and again.

His original charge a few years ago was DUI intoxication assault. His friend was injured in a car wreck they had.

For that, he was put on probation and given an ankle monitor for 1.5 years. With 4 months left of the monitor, there was a false positive read. This led to his first probation violation. The judge sentenced him to a long term rehab facility and he didn’t go. Hence the 2nd violation.

Obviously he’s made some poor choices. We want to get him as short a sentence as possible.

We are looking for a good attorney for him to hire ASAP but any advice is appreciated.
