I cannot stand the Slot-O-Mania ad with John Goodman as a thumb. He looks greasier and more stung out as a thumb than ever and it’s just terrible. I have no idea how that app works, other than to assume that its loving terrible and something like candy crush which just plods along convincing people to spend $1.99 from time to time. Please never show John Goodman as a thumb ever again.

TV ads for these fly-by-night internet casinos has exploded since covid hit for obvious reasons. I've always wonder how they profit off of them though since every commercial clearly states at the bottom *not for real money* *this is not a gambling website* I'm assuming it is a case where once you sign up and start playing that all the games have skewed payout rates, then you'll soon get an email saying "Oh hey, wouldn't it be great if that was real money you were winning? Well then head over to our other site which we can't legally advertise on regulated television stations!"

There's a commercial for a diabetes drug that features a gymnast and her father. But in the fine print at the bottom of the ad it says that this is a paid promotion and her father is NOT on the drug they are selling. What utter bullshit.
