I also kinda think he is downplaying just how important raising ones children is, because they are literally the future of humanity. But on the other hand, if he is thinking about conservative Christians home schooling their kids and educating them so they grow up to also know the earth is flat, 6000 years old, there is no racism, and trump is forever president, then maybe it is a good idea to force both parents to work and have someone less crazy/nazi/fascist doing the education.

CICADAS FOR THE WIN!

Cicadas have been in the news recently. Once every seventeen years, the cicadas hatch and emerge to enjoy the summer. The insects lay their eggs, die off, and begin the seventeen year cycle anew.

This year they are ready to rumble. They don’t call them the “17” year cicada for nothing.

The cicadas know Biden is a weak, illegitimate president who is part of a regime determined to convert America into a globalist, Marxist, disaster. A few days ago a cicada swam took out the Biden press plane as they flew into the engines, delaying the fight to Europe.

Then as the Cheater in Chief was giving his departure speech, a kamikaze cicada hit Biden in the neck causing him to squeal to the press, “A Big Bug just got me.

It is reassuring to know our insect friends are red pilled!

We The Media, a collection of QAnon advocates with more than 225,000 subscribers on its Telegram account, believes Biden swatting at the cicadas is actually "comms," a secret message that can be decoded by QAnon supporters.

"JOE BIDEN BITTEN BY A CICADA - COMMS? Just so happens that Cicada nymphs emerge after a 17-year childhood underground!!!" We The Media wrote.

For QAnon supporters, anything that can be linked to the number 17, no matter how tenuous, can be interpreted as "comms" for them as Q is the 17th letter of the alphabet.

"What? CHILD? UNDERGROUND? 17? Yes. Then after a short period above ground they molt, mate, lay eggs and die," We The Media's post added.

The "underground" comment is a reference to a long held belief from QAnon that there exists a network of secret underground tunnels where children are being trafficked and abused by the satanic pedophiles they claim they will one day expose.

The post also referred to another common belief from the conspiracy theorists that Biden has been replaced with a clone or a body double wearing a mask.

"So, is Fake Joe Biden saying 'he' was compromised by the Q Team for crimes against children and now after this short period 'in the limelight,' having served his purpose, is soon destined to 'die?'" the post read.

You know how in Aruthorian legend when The Fisher King is injured it causes the land itself to be in pain? Stuff like that shows up in a lot of fictional stories including Shakespeare plays and even in the Lion King where an injured or "Wrong" king can bring about natural disasters like drought and storms.

Basically, Garrison believes stuff like that is real and allowing Biden to reign instead of his preferred mad king Trump has brought upon this land a plague of locusts.

The way I understand it, cicadas are largely synchronized and staggered, such that Brood 1 emerges above ground to reproduce in year x, then Brood 2 in year x+1, etc. The brood that emerges every seventeenth year is of a significantly larger population than the others, and this is a Brood 17 year.

He never mentioned anything about being worried about crazy parents raising their kids, it was all just "But economically it would be a disaster to allow parents to stay home with their children! Who will fill all the jobs?! And they'll be at a disadvantage in the labor force and dependent on their partner's income!"

The problem I have with using "But what about racist Nazis who will raise their kids to be Nazis" as an argument against stay at home parents is that school is still only 8 or 9 hours a day, the kids are still going to go home to their racist parents who will tell them "Don't listen to your liberal teachers' lies!" and still get that exposure.

Plus, what if I turn it around. What about leftist parents who live in say, Alabama where they're teaching Trump's 1776 curriculum that says the founding fathers were gods among men who did nothing wrong and slavery wasn't that bad? Now you're forcing the kids to be exposed to crazy/nazi/fascist poo poo by not allowing stay at home parenting.

It's just not a great argument for forcing people to work, which probably is part of the reason why he didn't raise that argument and just wants to focus on the ~economics~ of why we can't let people be full time parents if they want.
