 Ground RulesI realize there will always be debates over what post goes in which thread, but pick whichever one seems the best and keep the bickering about it to the minimum. If you're linking to an eBay ad or craigslist post or the like, make sure to rehost the appropriate images and/or text - use the imgur extension to easily do so. Try to keep to more posts with images than without. After over 34k posts it's time to retire the last thread. Additionally, I want to reduce the clutter taken up by having multiple different threads that the same thing could be posted in. Use this thread for anything awesome that's automotive - photos, cell phone snaps, Craigslist / eBay posts, whatever. Case in point - this Porsche 550 Spyder kit with a six cylinder, that looks absolutely gorgeous.

The turbocharged Indycars can easily be done without earplugs, the naturally aspirated Indy Lights and other sports car series can maybe be done without them, but those big uncorked NA engines in the top level ALMS cars are just deafening.

Hell, a proper 300hp SBC used to be something you'd have to work towards on an aftermarket build if you weren't starting with, say, the original LT1. Magazines have done countless articles on it. Now, it's "go to the junkyard and pick a GenIII out of a truck." Insane is right.

Somewhere there's a photo of a patched-up VW Beetle with a newer-style large window, and a whole stack of small rear windows cut out of other older Beetles. Even though nostalgia has made split-window versions of pretty much any given car more desirable, they were never as practical as a large single window.

Alright, a page and a half with the only pic being of a speeding ticket? My redneck family decided to have a Christmas party, involving a 'light parade' down the center of the small town my grandma lives in. I threw some blinky LEDs around my daughter's stroller, but one of my uncles decided to go considerably higher scale. Complete with Mardi Gras beads to throw at the townspeople.

Came across a 2013-ish Chevrolet Colorado testing here in town today, with at least one particularly interesting marking:    'Small' truck with a small diesel? Yes please. Though calling it small isn't saying much, it's basically narrower than a Silverado but not really any shorter in height.

Yeah, those windows seem to be shorter than the ones on my Ranger, but they're even higher up. Funny thing is, it's not like the 2013 Colorado hasn't already been announced or shown:  Front end was a very thinly camo'd version of what's seen there, with a giant block of tape trying to obscure the bowtie. The only reason this thing caught my eye is the black cladding all over and the scrawled on EURO IV DIESEL ! on the side. The license plate itself is so old I didn't even recognize it as a manufacturer plate initially.
