This is by Gurihiru and I frigging love it. It's AvX but I got it off Comic Art Community's site. Not sure where it's from. EDIT: Okay I clearly have missed a train hitting my head here. Gatts fucked around with this message at 03:41 on Oct 27, 2012 |

Diet Poison posted:It's got Jamie Madrox and Multiple Man right beside each other. I hope that's on purpose but it's probably just an error. Unless there's another Multiple Man I'm unaware of. I think there was a storyline in X-Factor where one of Jamie's dupes managed to start his own life and I don't remember the conclusion but I think it was to let him live it and not reabsorb him.

I've not been following but if it means growth for his character and continued substance, I'm all for Logan as headmaster. Perhaps he's at a point in life where he wants to do something bigger than "Bub, gunna gut'cha, gunna slice n' dice, best at what I do. Gunna make the hardcore decisions."

Baron Bifford posted:Fourteen years? I heard medical school is long but that seems ridiculous. Welp, let's take it this way (discounting he specifically said Med School). A bachelor's runs 4 years for the undergrad. Then Med School itself is, like, another 4 some years of education and exam passing to graduation. That's about 8 years. Residency can be longer depending on the speciality. Psychiatry I think was 3 years but surgical ones can run 6+ depending on what it is. The Doctor was a surgeon at one point. That's 14 years right there. Considering the low number of spots for surgical matters, you really have to kick rear end. Your exam results tend to dictate what you can be limited to in terms of practice.

I prefer Dr. Nemesis in a hat, white suit, dashing hair, and hygiene mask over this mecha mask, red goggles and white scraggly hair. Although I suppose it'd be similar to Fantomex.

What happened? Batman lost another Robin again? He's a child killer, man. He enables these kids to fight crime by punching bad guys and being murdered. It's like death by cop, man only Robins are all in Joker's face practically begging to be offed.

And then naturally when Superboy dies, they do it again. Indeed. If Superman "dies," the answer is shoot him into orbit around the sun. He'll get better.

Power Girl is about the same age, maybe a tiny bit younger, but otherwise they're all grown adults. Perhaps I too will magically sprout magnificent gams like Power Girl and be in peak physical condition!

At that point they should just have him go liquid metal like the T-1000 where his body just finds itself and merges together. I think when Ultimate Hulk tore Wolverine apart he dragged himself to his lower half to heal. Comedy option is progressively tinier Wolverines like Ash and something out of Army of Darkness. I remember Deadpool or Hulk or someone having to set their bones before they heal otherwise it would just come out bad.

Dr. Doom saying fear is for lesser men is a great bit of dialog and characterization. Easily one of my favorite characters when written with complexity than cartoon villain.

Just to be a dick. I love Thanos but...that's just style right there. The dude made himself at home in someone else's house, casually sat on a couch, and gave one of his enemies a video of his wife banging Superman, and checked out. loving Superman. I bet he also drank Mr. Miracle's milk out of the jug and left a hella foul smelling deuce in his restroom without flushing. There should be a series of Darksied just being a dick.

Please tell me someone asks "So...who are you?" and he says "THE BAT-MAN!" and then runs backwards, crashing through the window, flying/gliding out in the night or day or whatever, and everyone just sort of stands there awkwardly looking at each other. Because that's how I imagine Batman plays out. Like, weirdo.
