The tac kit module for calling in a "drone bombing run of magmatic eruptions" sounds like fun, but only time will tell if it's actually useful.

Seems to work on the Belfast bridge. I haven't leveled up a new toon to try it myself, but the rommie I invited was able to finish the first part of the mission there (the rest taking place at Drozana).

The patch did nothing of the sort.
The Disco Nova is still a thing.

I don't know if this means they patched some other disco ball "exploit", or if they just hosed it up.

Polaron is definitely worth looking into if you're not already locked into an energy type, just make sure you grab the Lukari 2 piece set bonus with console if you're going down this purple path. Don't worry about finding pen mods, nobody cares about those anymore.

The Risian Corvette has a 0.25 impulse modifier and is able to slot emergency power to engines 3, while the Bajoran Interceptor has a 0.2 modifier (i.e. average) and a lt.cmd science slot. The Bajoran Interceptor is a considerably better platform for making something great in PvE than the Corvette ever was, but that was never the point of the Corvette.

So if any of you haven't visited the dev server lately, the zero-G ground PvP the devs are testing out is actually rather entertaining. It's pretty buggy when it comes to sci spam and turrets, but the guns work just like you'd expect.

The Antiproton Matter Conversion weapons are utter trash, don't bother doing the event just to get those.

You can fix the error message by selecting "Disable Voice Chat" under Main Menu > Options > Voice Chat.

I like how they made it look like someone completely incompetent made the images; inconsistent illumination and color, terrible keying with halos and blotches of color where the keying just failed somehow, and un-textured mouths.

Not sure your Kelvin set will be of much use, but personally I'd build (any sci-ship) around the deteriorating deflector and try to focus on exotic damage with whatever boosters I can afford/claim/grind.

They're essentially holding the service they provided the STO community at ransom, and the only ones suffering for that is that community, not Cryptic. Sounds like a dodgy file to have issues with.

It's a shame they nerfed the ghost buster gun so it doesn't bounce around as much anymore.

It used to be fairly entertaining to see how many teammates you could kill during ground stfs.

The ESD raids were usually about seducing security guards and watching the mayhem.
