Season 14 Vote Results Voting has ended, the results for this season are as follows: 1. Propose we remove defenses (Yes/No) 8 votes yes, 12 votes no, proposal does not pass. 2. Propose we remove kickers (Yes/No) 4 votes yes, 16 votes no, proposal does not pass. 3. If proposals #1 or #2 pass, replace it with either a 3rd flex/IDP/or nothing at all (3rd flex/IDP/None) 1 and 2 did not pass, so this is moot, but we had 12 votes for a third flex, 2 votes for IDP, 5 for none, proposal does not pass 4. LEAGUE SCHEDULING: Just like last year, the playoffs are from weeks 15-17. We will just shift the games using the same tool so that you should play a couple of different conference games and out of conference games. This year, with -8 division games -4 conference games -2 out of conference games We keep the same divisions. The AFC (Marino, Namath) and NFC (Montana, Romo) conferences will be placed on other ends of the real playoffs when the time comes. For simplicity's sake and unless everyone disagrees, it would just be easier to keep the proposals from last season (especially since other people have already voted) and add this to next year's proposals if you want.

Now that we have a full league, it's time to lock in and calculate the votes. Quiet Feet did this already so it's not a huge surprise, but here are the results. Ok, the draft order has been set, the punter position has been added (14 round draft now), and the schedule has been finalized. Big thanks again to Econdad for helping me make that spreadsheet last year, it made it really easy to find/replace all the teams and you should all now have some fresh matchups. Only thing left to do is decide the punter scoring but other than that, I think we're good to go. Draft is in 12 days! You should now be able to trade picks if you want to. I don't think ESPN allows you to view it if you weren't a part of the league before. But I may be able to find a way to print or get the last five drafts and post them in here if you give me a bit. You were Namath 2 last year, now you're Namath 1 (remember how we shifted up and down based on the division?) But now that I'm looking at it, I can see a couple of the same matchups too, just different home/away status. Maybe the shifting doesn't work as well as I'd hoped, and I just need to randomize each year all five slots. Give me a bit, I'll have to redo this.

Looks like most people who've responded in the last couple of days want to try Pmchem's solution or are mainly indifferent to punter scoring, so to make it easier and get it finalized, I'm just going to go ahead and implement that scoring for this season. Once this season is over, we can tweak as necessary. I'd like to consider dropping that down to either 1 day with 8 vetoes or instantly with no vetoes (barring collusion trades). Or, we could just keep it as is with 2 days/8 vetoes. Wonder what y'all think about it? We don't trade a ton in this league, and I'm wondering if this would help spur more of them.

I know we draft QBs and the like early here, but in my other draft that I posted yesterday, I felt more like you had to grab who you wanted almost a round or two early each time or you would’ve been boned.
