This is understandable to me, as both a normal human capable of understanding human emotions, and as someone who the previous website owner and half the current mod team and user base for the past year called a nazi only to then say "my bad" after a year. However the accusation that the mods are pedophiles imo is an old traditional joke told by SA forums users due to the fact that many years ago the mod team had criminal pedophiles on it due to the incompetence of the people who ran this website. Obviously there is no proof that any of the current mods engage in any form of criminal sexual degeneracy at this moment (yet), so we can assume this is a joke and not meant to be taken at face value, especially given that it was posted in the FYAD-lite politics forums. If however this joke is deemed too terrible and horrible to be typed ever again, then that is unfortunate but then an alternate though less appealing solution I offer is that I and the others who have made this fun joke should be banned as well. I would prefer this not happen but generally feel like SA is a place for jokes and even if the jokes are bad or worn out they are still not grounds for being driven off the forums. If the mods are bothered by being called pedophiles I would encourage them to post "lol" at the offender or give them a comedy 6 hour probation as this is more in keeping with the spirit of fun and frolic the forums are meant to illicit. I would encourage this of all posters who are called mean names they dont like and which also have no grounding in reality.

yeah idk I PM'd fluff and a mod or two because it seemed like a pretty weird double standard to have and got no response. I have no strong opinion either way - calling someone a pedophile because they don't agree with your braindead political takes is pretty dumb but it's not like there's no reason that it became a meme.

Personally I think theres a difference between accusing a specific person of pedophilia and calling a group of people pedophiles as a joke. Im sure it (understandably) gets old for the mods/admins but it shouldnt be treated as this gravely serious offense. Maybe probe if youre pissed about it, but dont give a full ban+30.
