In case anyone is interested, I took a peek at the code and it turns out that you can't get a chain to go all the way to the max unless you have at least 4.444... trillion cookies already.

The first four cookies in the chain will always appear no matter what (as long as you don't miss them), but after that, you need at least 2/3rds as many cookies banked as the next one would give you in order for it to have a chance of appearing.

You sure about that? I had 200 billion cookies and a chain started and went all the way to 6 trillion.

I did some number crunching on Blood cookies/Gold Cookies, Appeasing and Covenent.

-Keeping the grand matriarchs happy means your special cookies are worth an average of 16% more. (edit: actually this just goes up over time, nevermind)
-Assuming you get a special cookie about every 3 minutes or so (seems to be about average for me), the 30 minute appeasement is worth it as long as you are making over 450M cps, assuming you capped the appeasement.
-While actively playing, covenant is not worth it until you are making 680M cps
-Unless I'm calculating wrong, thanks to the cap on appeasement, it is better to just keep appeasing rather than get covenant.

How many times do we have to go over this? If you only have 1800x the amount. The bonus will be 10% of that, or 180x the amount, or three minutes worth.

It's 18000x
Say it with me. 18000x.
You need 300 Minutes worth, so that 10 percent of that is 30 minutes.

New (maybe) discovery that's going to make double length VASTLY worth it.

Had a 7x for 77 second cookie going. Got another cookie while it was active. I had 56 trillion cookies, it gave me 5.6 trillion for the cookie. Normal amount I get is about 1.3 trillion.

fake edit: I tested on a different tab spawning golds like crazy, the 7x does not stack on each other and give you 49x, unfortunately.

710million cps in case you wondering.

clot also halves your cps for 132 seconds, so there's that, but I don't think it's that big of a deal.

On the downside, if you get a "lucky" cookie while clot is going, you "only" get 15 minutes worth of cookies.

On the upside, getting 210 minutes of cookies if you have the grannies appeased is amazing.

Actually, that seems about right using cookies as a currency. Even if you don't like cookies, there's a point at which enough cookies is a great deal for anything. Want to buy a factory? Bet if you offered them 500 billion cookies they'd sell it to you. 5 quadrillion cookies might be enough encouragement to get a bunch of scientists to work for you to develop that time machine. Their great-great-grandsons would never worry about going hungry.

Also, you're building a time machine to pull cookies from the past, what good do those cookies do if the next time machine is just going to suck them away anyway?

Also, bringing all those cookies in from other planets, dimensions, and eras makes inflation a bitch.

The prestige amount is based on your cookies baked and RESET total all time.

So say you reset with 1 quadrillion baked, you will get 31 chips

Get up to 1 quad again and reset, you will get 13 chips

You've reset 2 quadrillion cookies total, it's sqrt of 2000 to give you 44 chips total.
